Ghost Trails is a modifier plugin that makes it
easy to create a trail behind a moving object. Now with Particle
support!
It can be used to create such effects as:

Skid marks and tire tracks;

Trails from swords and other weapons like in console games;

Snap2Terrain is a Utility plugin that allows a
number of Objects (or Groups) to intersect with another (usually a
terrain). The mesh intersection uses the pivot points of the
selected object or groups.
Basic
workflow: -
a) The
artist selects some objects, or some Groups of objects
b) The
artist selects the axis and direction of intersections (x,y,z;
positive, or negative).
c) The
artist can select whether to optionally match the ground polygon
normal.
d) the
artist clicks Move Objects and selects a mesh to intersect with
(usually the ground/terrain).

2) frame count, and
3) date & time
