| Attending the Games Developers
Conference is always fun, even if you are working.
Since most of the Bytegeist team was coming off our last major
contract, Bytegeist took to the States for GDC and lots of
meetings.

From left to right, Jed Fisher (MD), Daniel Evans (Director),
and Ron Slaughter (VP Marketing).
Unfortunately only three of us went this year. Other's decided
getting married, having their first born, or holidaying in Egypt
to be more fun!? As for the rest of the team... they did the
ultimate sacrifice a.k.a kept working hard.... Thanks guys.

Anyway the tour was a success,
business was found and our contracts will begin shortly.

Sony's Dog; It talks, plays, communicates, it's got more
sensors than humans have senses, and it reads your email! It's
amazing how easily you almost spend $2.5K USD...
Over the two and half week tour we had only three days off. We
decided to make the most of them California style.

The C.A. sun wasn't as nice as Sydney's, and Ron's business
shoes don't look so flash anymore...
Thanks to everyone we met, it was a pleasure. An even bigger
thanks to all those who showed us round their studios. And an even
bigger thanks to all those we partied with and who shouted
drinks.
Great trip. Catch you next year! |
